Meet Patricia , registered nurse (RN) with over 10 years of valuable experience in healthcare. Throughout her career, Patricia has witnessed the pressing need for social stimulation among seniors who choose to age in place at home. Recognizing this crucial gap in care, Patricia felt compelled to establish the Social Pulse Healthcare Agency. ( SPHCA)
Patricia ‘s extensive experience has allowed her to understand the importance of a holistic approach to care. She believes that providing medication reminders and mobility assistance , ADL’s ( activity of daily living ) alone is not enough to meet the needs of seniors who desire to age at home. Therefore, she developed the Social Pulse Healthcare Agency with the objective of offering comprehensive support that includes both physical care and social engagement.
At the heart of the Social Pulse Healthcare Agency is the Social Post Activity Bag, a unique offering designed to keep clients stimulated and socially engaged. Each bag is tailored to the individual's interests and needs; and it contains a variety of puzzles, games, and memory aids. By engaging with each client on a personal level, Patricia and her team will create an atmosphere of companionship and promote mental well-being.
The Social Pulse Healthcare Agency goes beyond traditional caregiving services. Patricia and her dedicated team prioritize building meaningful relationships with their clients and families, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose. They understand that socialization is an integral part of overall well-being, and their approach is centered around helping seniors maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
Through their comprehensive services, Social Pulse Healthcare Agency will strive to enhance the lives of their clients, allowing them to age in place with dignity, stimulation, and a strong sense of community.

" Hola my name is Ruby, I'm newly retired from Horry County schools, after 32 years in education. 21 of those years were, being owner and director of Kiddie College pre school. I love what I'm doing with Social Pulse because of my love for people, children or Seniors. I'm a people person. Love and, Care for those who needs it the most.
My name is Cyan Bryant and I’ve been working at Social Pulse Homecare Agency for more than 2 months now. I’m 18 years old and I was born in Conway, SC. I am currently a student at Horry Georgetown Technical College and I am studying Nursing.
I don’t have much experience in homecare, but I’m so glad to be apart of a work that trains me to prioritize people’s needs!
What I love about working here is how much I’m able to help people, cognitively and physically. Not only am I helping them care and clean for their homes but I’m engaging with them socially and letting them be assured of my assistance!
“Helping people has been the focus of my life ever since I was little, which has been very fulfilling. From volunteering to help my community and working for the school system in food services to pet sitting a variety of animals. So Social Pulse Home Care Agency turned out to be a great fit! I love the look of a tidy house and to help in that way is satisfying, but I also love connecting with my clients! Whether through a conversation or a fun activity, I love laughing and getting to know my clients better - it’s the best part of my job.”
'I've worked previously in a doctor's office and nursing facility. All of which trained me to work closely with patients and help aide them with daily activities and concerns.
Even though their health is not what it used to be, they do have experiences and wisdom that we can take with us"
"One of my first jobs was working with seniors in a nursing home as someone who offered practical care such as accompanying them to their rooms, changing their clothes, and assisting
them with bathing.
Later on in my working career I had the opportunity to work in a nursing home facility once again where, although I didn’t interact with them personally, I still had the pleasure of getting to know the residents personally.
Along with practical care, I believe that emotional support and mental stimulation is just as important. Engaging in fun and creative activities with each client is something I am really looking forward to since I’ve never had the opportunity to work with seniors in this capacity.
I’m committed to fostering a positive, trustworthy, and respectful environment ensuring each individual’s dignity and well-being with a warm and compassionate approach.
My goal is to develop close friendships with each client and to share many laughs along the way."
